Steady, everyday support at home

Living with a mental health condition can make everyday routines feel harder to keep up. Our support offers a calm, reliable presence at home, helping with the practical things and gently encouraging the habits that support wellbeing. We work alongside the person's wider care, never in place of their doctors or mental health team, focusing on the day-to-day support that helps life feel more manageable.

The support we offer

  • A friendly, consistent presence and companionship
  • Encouragement with daily routines and personal care
  • Support with meals, sleep routines and staying active
  • Medication prompts as part of an agreed plan
  • Help getting to appointments and staying organised
  • Encouragement to stay connected with people and activities
  • Working alongside the person's GP and mental health team
  • Who this support suits

Our support suits adults living with a mental health condition who would benefit from practical, steady help at home to keep routines going and stay independent. It is not a clinical or crisis service. Where someone needs clinical treatment, therapy or urgent help, we work alongside, and signpost to, the right professionals.

    Patient, consistent and respectful

We take time to understand each person, what helps them feel steady, what they find difficult and what they want to work towards. Our carers are patient, consistent and non-judgemental, and we keep the same familiar faces wherever possible. We work closely with families and the person's healthcare team, and review support regularly as things change.

    If you need urgent help

Our support is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone you care for needs urgent mental health help, please contact your GP or NHS 111. You can call the Samaritans free at any time on 116 123. If life is at risk, call 999.

    Support shaped around life

Support can be a few hours a week, daily visits or more regular help, arranged around routine and lifestyle. Talk to us about what would help and we will confirm the arrangements and availability.
