Support that starts with the person

Everyone deserves the chance to live life their own way. Our support for adults with a learning disability is built around the individual, their strengths, their goals and the things they enjoy. We help with daily living and routines where needed, while always encouraging choice, skills and independence, so support opens doors rather than closing them.

The support we offer

  • Help with daily routines and personal care, at the right level
  • Building everyday living skills, from cooking to budgeting
  • Support to get out, take part and stay connected in the community
  • Encouragement with hobbies, activities and interests
  • Help with appointments and staying organised
  • Support to communicate choices and be heard
  • Working closely with families and other professionals
  • Who this support suits

Our support suits adults with a learning disability who want help to live independently at home and in their community, whether that is a few hours of support each week or more regular help. We are honest about what we can offer, and where someone has more complex or specialist needs, we will say so and help point towards the right support.

    Choice, dignity and independence

We take time to get to know each person, how they communicate, what they enjoy and what independence means to them. We do things with people, not for them, building confidence and skills step by step. We match carers who are patient and respectful, keep support consistent, and work alongside families and other professionals to keep everything joined up.

    Support shaped around the person

Support can be a few hours a week, daily visits or more regular help, arranged around the person's routine, activities and goals. Talk to us about what would help and we will confirm the arrangements and availability.
